Although some shifts are full, there are still plenty to go around. If you are not already bowling with JA this winter, grab your co-workers, family, or friends and join in the fun! It only takes 5 people to make a team and each of you only have to raise a $100 minimum. Then you can pat yourself on the back knowing you have done something worthwhile that made a difference in a child’s life!

Winter Bowling Classic Kicks Off January 12!

It’s that time again for a new crop of fantabulous JA Bowlers to overtake the lanes of Birmingham.  Kick-off is January 12, 11:30am - 1:00pm at the Energen Plaza in Downtown Birmingham.  If you or your company would like to participate, contact Kim Cripps at 205.290.9365 x 117.  We’ll save you a seat!

NEW GRAND PRIZE THIS YEAR! Since the Summer Bowlers get the Golden Flake Champion ‘Chip’ Weekend Grand Prize, we thought it was time for Winter Bowlers to have a grand prize as well.  For every $250 a bowler raises, he or she will be entered to win a brand new 32″ flat-screen HDTV with a built-in Blu Ray player.  This prize is courtesy of Best Buy in Hoover.  Good luck everyone!

It’s official!  The new year of Junior Achievment Bowling has begun!

Dates for 2009-10 are as follows:

Summer Bowl 
August 8  - 10am or 1pm at Vestavia Bowl Family Fun Center or Brunswick Riverview Lanes                                    

August 9  -  1:30 at Brunswick Riverview Lanes

August 15 - 10am or 1pm at Vestavia Bowl Family Fun Center or Brunswick Riverview Lanes

Winter Bowl

February 27 & March 7.  Vestavia Bowl Family Fun Center and Brunswick Riverview Lanes
