The Difference You Make is Striking!

Each year business people throughout the metro Birmingham area give Junior Achievement (JA) a hand in raising funds to support JA programs in schools by taking part in the bi–annual Jim ‘N Nick’s Junior Achievement Bowling Classic. With over 60 companies and 2,000 bowlers participating, the Bowling Classic is not only a major source of funding, but also a major source of fun, friendly competition and team building.

No bowling experience is required! Just go out and have a great time – knowing you will make a direct impact on the lives of more than 30,000 JA kids served in the area! For a list of participating schools, click here.

What is Bowling Classic Anyway?

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA Worldwide provides in–school and after–school programs for students which focus on three key content areas: work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.

Today, 139 individual area operations reach more than four million students in the United States, with an additional 4.3 million students served by operations in 114 other countries worldwide.
